Sleeping bag designed for extreme cold weather conditionsMade of waterproof material and padded or insulated for heat retention.Designed to protect personnel sleeping outdoors from cold and dampness or moisture.It is a mummy style with a draw cord hood and is 84 inches long, 30 inches wide at the top, and 14 inches at the bottom, weighing 10 pounds.The sleeping bag is made of water-repellent poplin cotton outer shell with 80% down and 20% polyester filling, and it includes a 64-inch long zipper, offset stitching at the seams, and a 3-inch storm flap with snaps over the zipper rated for -20°F.This particular model was not issued with a carrying bag; however, the carry bag shown in the pictures is included with this listing.Color: drab olive greenBased on the 83 in the contract number DLA100-83-C-4174 on the tag inside, this was made in the early 80s.
